Publication Outlets for Children's Writing

For budding authors there are many outlets that accept children's writing, art work, photography, and videography. Consider some of  these: Amazing Kids!  mag.amazing-kids.org/get-involved/write-for-us     This is an online magazine for kids by kids, accepting writing, art, photograpy, and videography from kids age 5 to 18. Guidelines offer limits for texts and video length. Materials must be appropriate for readers age 12 and younger. Cyber Kids www.cyberkids.com/he/html/submit     Cyber Kids publishes stories, articles, and poems written by kids age 7 to 12 from around the world in the "Creative Works" section of the website. Illustrated submissions are more likely to be chosen then non-illustrated works, and single artists may be spotlighted in an art gallery. Launch Pad  www.launchpadmag.com/ #       Launch Pad publishes original stories, poems, and book reviews from international students and illustrators, ages 8 to 14. Here are some websites that let children browse and/or search databases of recommended books. They are valuable resources! Jon Scieszka's Guys Read  www.guysread.com          The Reading Lists tab features great recommendations form many guy readers (and writers). James Patterson's Read Kiddo Read  www.readkiddoread.com         This site offers reviews adn recommendations for Great Ilustrated Book, Great Transitional Books, Great Pageturners, and Great Advanced Read.
